Safety & Responsibility
Your primary responsibility is the safe operation of your vehicle. RoadPing is a community-driven awareness tool intended to supplement, not replace, your visual observation of the road. Never rely solely on the App for safety.
Disclaimer of Warranties
RoadPing is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We disclaim all warranties, including the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of hazard data.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROADPING AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, including personal injury, wrongful death, property damage (vehicle suspension/tires), or traffic violations arising out of the use of the App.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RoadPing and its developers from any claims or expenses arising out of your use of the App.
Intellectual Property
All code, algorithms (including the Sentinel EKF Radar engine), branding, and UI designs are the exclusive property of RoadPing.
User Content & Privacy
By reporting a hazard, you grant RoadPing a perpetual licence to use and share that data (coordinates and photos) for public safety purposes. All data processing is done in compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.
Future Monetization & Business Transfers
We reserve the right to monetize the App in the future through ads, subscription plans, or paid features. In the event of a merger, acquisition, assets sale, or business transition, all user profiles, hazard reports, and database records may be transferred to the acquiring entity as part of the business transition.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Delhi, India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
